Random Acts of Kindness 2012
We received a wonderful email this morning that encouraged us to want to share it with our OnPath Family. A friend of OnPath is doing a challenge the next 40 days in preparation for Easter. We would like to thank our neighbor, Leslie Edmondson owner of Wool and Company in St. Charles for sharing this with us. "So I thought this year I would do something a little more practical....and I am going to perform a a Random Act of Kindness each and every day for the next 40. It doesn't have to be anything huge and monetary or even tangible, a kindness in any form will do. So paying it forward at Starbucks, dropping a special magazine in a neighbors mailbox, leaving a coffee on your colleague's desk, giving cookies to someone or sending flowers or a card are all good, but I think even a genuine conversation or smile with someone I wouldn't normally interact with counts too.
So please join me....you don't have to tell me that you are doing it, or what you did, but I would love it if you do. That way we can all share ideas and have something in our back pocket for the days when our 'kindness quotient' can't seem to think for itself.....what I think I am saying is that I would borrow some of your randomness. So lets flood the Fox Valley with RAOKs and see what miracles can happen.
